Mary's high heel shoes and the tile floors of the lobby didn't get along so well. That's why Mary was sitting on her couch, her left leg elevated with an ice pack on her ankle, while she made a couple of quick phone calls. Mary's quick little trip to the mainland to sell Ed's condo was not going as planned. ( Where Mary finds herself ripping out carpet and looking for a realtor who won't keep checking her out. )

Mary has been taking it easy all day because she was still feeling run down from being so sick. She was also worried about her accidental spontaneous confession to Detective Montoya yesterday. She was laying on the couch, surfing the Internet on her laptop as she checked out lawyers on the mainland, just in case one became necessary.

Mary really hasn't had the best of luck with phones lately. That's why she was not surprised when her phone beeped with a new voice mail from Sam Marquez which apparently had been left in the middle of the week.

Mary had tried calling Jillian, only to find that the number was disconnected. Her attempts to call Sam and Delinda also failed. She decided to just blame Fandom weirdness for cutting her off from Las Vegas again and tried calling the only other person who know about her secrets.

After doing some research online about the neighborhood around the convention center, Mary decided to give her former boss a call and make plans for Friday night.

( It would be convenient if he actually stayed at home, though )

After finally getting out of the clinic, Mary made it back to her hotel room and pretty much crashed on the living room couch. Her timing was just about perfect because Gunther was a complete wreck. She was going to need to find more help if she ever took an extended leave of absence.

Right now, there were phone calls to make and e-mails to send.
